today I spent 4 hours on the road to transport one robin to an expert...and it was over 200 miles....donations: zero. Cost for me..a tank of gas and 4 hours on the road....payoff...bird will be rehabbed and will be released in 2-3 more weeks...that is what it is all about..
Wow for a Robin shame someone local could not take him...I remember years ago raising squirrls and having to boil pecans in the milk for the protein...and way back doing baby cockatiels befor you could get the hand feeding formula and making it out of monkey chow and peanut butter......Ahhhhh the good old days...I like baby critters..though I do not know how does those opossoms thats one critter I could never get used to feeding...she would pick them out of the mothers pouch on the side of the road...
