There is a huge cost for convenience. Nothing can replace boobies or 100% natural foods, pureed or otherwise. That's right mothers. Start your kids off on the road to ill heath and improper development with crap processed foods with ingredients such as glyphosate laden GMO corn based corn syrup solids, GMO soy, synthetic vitamins, junk whey protein, and mortierella alpina oil. So what the hell is
mortierella alpina oil anyway? Well it's a man made product, referred to as Fungal Oil SUN-TGA40S, is an arachidonic acid-rich oil obtained by fermentation from the fungus Mortierella alpina, and guess what, it's super cheap to make. So why not make your own formula using a high quality cod liver oil that is 100% naturally high in occurring nutrients: vitamins A and D, and a full spectrum of omega fatty acids (including EPA and DHA); with no synthetic vitamins as your formula ingredient? Infants only need about 2.5 ml per day, so a bottle would last a long time.
And for the old folks that think they need something such as Ensure, it's even worse. With GMO corn maltodextrin. Really crappy vegetable oils. Sugar, (and though it doesn't say, most likely GMO beet sugar), and GMO soy. Drinking this crap is a good way to maintain systemic inflammation of your body. What is systemic inflammation you ask? Classic signs of systemic inflammation include fatigue, fever, and joint and muscle pain. Inflammation is also known for causing symptoms that are considered atypical. This can include things like balance issues, insulin resistance, muscle weakness, eye problems, skin issues, non alcoholic fatty liver disease and more. Which constantly keeps your body's immune system strained and the reason so many people can catch a cold or flu so easily.
If one were a conspiracy theorist, one might begin to think that "they" want you to get/be/remain ill and sick prone, to always rely on 'doctors' or the medical and pharmaceutical establishments, to keep you from getting sick, or mask your ill diet caused symptoms.
Maltodextrin is used as a thickener, filler or preservative in many processed foods. It’s an artificially produced white powder that can be enzymatically derived from any starch, most commonly made from corn, rice, potato starch or wheat.
Although maltodextrin comes from natural foods, it is
highly processed. The starch goes through a process called partial hydrolysis, which uses water, enzymes and acids to break down the starch and create the water-soluble white powder. When the powder is added to food, it thickens the product, prevents crystallization and helps bind ingredients together. The difference between maltodextrin and corn syrup solids is that maltodextrin is hydrolyzed to have less than 20 percent sugar content, whereas corn syrup solids have more than 20 percent sugar content. Maltodextrin is a polysaccharide.
