Babysitter

I saw one listed the other day in the classifieds. She's in the same development Crabby used to live in. Not sure if she's still available, but you could search and see. :yay: Also, I've noticed a "daycare" sign on one of the driveways off Asher Road in Country Lakes. Sorry I can't provide more information on it, though.

How old is the child(ren)?
2.5, 4.5, and 8 days short of 7. Very low maintenance kids. During the time frame that we would be needing a babysitter, all they'd have to do is fill the occasional milk cup, and then supervise the "getting ready for bed" stuff and send them to bed. We generally let them have "free time" after dinner (color, play with toys or watch a movie or approved TV shows such as Barney, Dragon Tales and Kim Possible). Kids do not give us grief when we tell them to go to bed. I'd guess 4 to 5 hours (figure 6:00 - 11:00).

Hey now, no hijacking MY babysitter tread!:burning: I've got dibs!

I don't think we'll impose on the times you'd wanna go out seeing as Brent works shift work and rarely gets a 3-day break that falls on the weekend. We're talking once every 2-3 months.

Shoot, I'd be happy with once a YEAR! We almost NEVER go out by ourselves now that we have 3. Grandma and a friend of ours watches them occasionally, but we try not to impose too often on them.

Goodluck!

I used to have one but she got a real job and never calls me back anymore:dangit:
Girl in our 'hood used to do it, until she too got a real job. I can't compete with what she'd make as a hostess at Sandgates (I think) on a weekend night during the summer.

Why not switch with Pixie (or another local couple)? It would be a great opportunity for both couples to go out once a month or whenever. Best of all, it wouldn't cost anything! :yay:
