Mike H. did mine and didn't seem concerned about the pipes. One of his mechs did the other bike and didn't even start it. You'd think starting would be kind of an important function wouldn't you?

I bought it from a Prince William County police officer. It's the Peace Officers Special. He said the pipes shouldn't be a problem. I do have the stock pipes from my '03 though.

Now all I need is my helmets to arrive & get her tagged.

Borrow one and get those tags! Then you'll be ready when the helmets get here. What did you do, trailor it down?

Yes I did. He offered me a helmet and I was going to ride but that would leave GF & her grandaughter towing the trailer all that way (Woodbridge). She was ok with it but I decided to strap it down. Thanks to Duponster for use of his trailer. :yay:

Helmets ordered online last night along with a pair of chaps and a 2nd headset/mic.

Onbdzee already told me about the ride this weekend.

where's the state inspectors ???

hey guys, probably too late but i was just going through the posts and read this one and thoought i'd let you guys know i got my inspec done at clinton cycles...they have 4 state inspectors on staff every day !!!...their labor rate is also alot less than atlantics and they got me in and out in 45 minutes...just an FYI if it helps out...ride safe....

Man this thing has a lot more power than my '03 and I had a stage 1 kit in it. Mike Hewitt inspected me in about 15 minutes and was only $45.00. I'm in heaven. The cruise control is cool & the intercom is too.

I forgot though....don't yawn on a motorcycle even with a fairing. :doh:

When is the next ride? I'm there. :biggrin:
