Baffling Caller I.D.

Yes, and when I actually answer, it's always a call for the person who had this telephone number before us. Do a google search on the phone number and you might be able to find out which company it is.

That's what I always do. I google the numbers. There's a pretty neat site out there, I think it's whocalledus.com. I was able to find out a couple of the companies calling us by using that site.

I get a lot of recordings. They'll call, and I'll answer and it will be a recording saying that it's not a sales call, and they have an important matter to discuss with "Jameson Yancy". I don't understand the point of that, if they need to speak to this person, why aren't they just calling themselves? :roflmao:

I did. I am on dial-up so I don't answer ....and I don't answer anyway unless I know who it is. It's out of Washington state.
That might be my brother..

He likes to call collect so I had all his calls forwarded to your house..

NOT Politically Correct!!
Die telemarketers... :wench:

I put my name on the national "Do Not Call" List and maybe received 1-2 calls in a 1 year period. :coffee:

The remaining 1-2 callers who do make it through are marked for death, I love messing with phone solicitors.

Normally I start the marketing call by yelling "Put a sheet over the body" then asking how they knew this person???
