I was just told they voted NO on the bailout and stocks went down about 400 or so points just now... Looking for the latest now...

Dollar Cost Averaging..

Downturns in the market are a GOOD thing for people the put money away every month. You'll be buying many more shares in the next few months than you have in the past several months... when the market recovers you'll have lost no money and maybe even made a little, on the shares you bought yesterday, but the ones you bought today will have huge gains.

The people that are going to lose, and lose big, are the ones that take their money out looking for 'something better' or ones that bought individual stocks that tanked.

What is your age? I don't know about you but I got a long way to go anyway I look at it, I have more years of buying stocks in my future than I've had in my past so......... eff it. Wished I'd timed it better too but that is all but impossible.

I know my 401K is tanked right now but it will get better. Just have to wait it out, and it will come back. I am actually on e-trade right now looking at some low priced stocks to buy some shares of. Might as well do it while it is low.
