Easy Crock Pot Beef Stew
2 lbs stew meat, cut in about 1" chunks
2 24 oz whole canned potatoes (drained) & I cut ones that were bigger than a golf ball in half
1 bag baby carrots (fresh)
8 oz baby bella mushrooms rinsed and quartered
4 oz white mushrooms rinsed and quartered
one large onion coarsely chopped
1 can fat free cream of mushroom soup
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 can french onion soup
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1 Cup water
put meat in bottom of crock pot, season with salt & pepper
dump in everything but the liquids and stir together
In a bowl mix the soups, tomato sauce and water, until well blended.
Pour over the meat and vegies and stir to mix.
If you want, add a bag of frozen peas about 40 minutes before it is done.
I cooked it on high for 5 hours, but you could also cook it on low for about 8.
