Which breed of dog would you say has the tendency to be the most obnoxious barker?
I don't know but I bet he lives across the street from me! 2am bark bark bark bark howl howl howl. If I couldnt' sleep I know the owners couldn't sleep. He was at it again this morning at 530.

Not necessarily. My cavalier doesn't bark at all and one of my Poms doesn't bark unnecessarily. The other Pom barks if a leaf falls out of a tree. They are just all different.

SCHNAUZER's are rather mouthy. 10/10 times it's the owner whose at fault. They think it's cute,(natural) but by some discipline and becoming the Alpha pack leader, it could be stopped.

Little dogs were bred to be companion animals. I have noticed a trend that most little dogs tend to be spoiled. Who cares if a little dog jumps on you? Why bother to correct it? It's cute if a little dog barks at you, etc. I just think little dogs are allowed to be rude. :shrug: I think years and years of spoiling has caused all little dogs to become jerks.
Of course there are exceptions....I like pugs. I think they're cute. I don't think I'll ever own a little dog though.

ANY dog can be a barker, though the smaller breeds tend to feel the need to express themselves more than the big guys. I have not met a quiet schnauzer tho.. mini that is.

I agree with you about shih tzu's. My sisters always barks and when your on the phone it seems to be twice as loud! I got my min pin from a girl in Mechanicsville. I will look it up for you and PM you with her info.
