BEST suggestion yet!! She's off today, dammit...I can't wait for her to see this place! Ahhh how amazing......a barn AND a vineyard?! :yahoo:

Wow, what a fantastic venue ! I did read on the FB page that they aren't offering weddings till 2014, hope that's wrong because that place looks awesome !!!!

Thy are just starting the vineyard. The farm hosts wine pairing dinners with a local winery, Romano Winery

Maryland Wine | Wineries | Romano Vineyard and Winery

I saw that in the pictures, still...what an awesome place :yay:

Oooooh do you think she'd be open to allowing maternity photos be taken on her property? I'm actually looking for a good spot for myself :cheesy:

Surely I should just call, just thought I'd ask if you knew.

Yeahhhh I'm a dummy, I just looked it up again...didn't see it at first. I mentioned it to her, she's going to look into it...thanks :yay:

Right? Not that there's anything wrong with doing it the other way, I'm saying though, they're "planning" a wedding. Why would they....nevermind, you get it

Stinkin computer jerks blocked youtube :ohwell:

Yeah, Sotterly doesn't have A/C but Flora does...it's coming down to available dates :yay:

I suggested Running Hare Vineyard in Prince Frederick, it's awesome. We went to a wedding there a couple years ago and seriously, it was absolutely beautiful :yay:

She actually mentioned making an appointment here yesterday. Thanks

That's a pretty cool suggestion, thanks :yay:

Running Hare is awesome, I did suggest this one already. She's such a wine-o, not sure how she has her heart set on a barn and not a vineyard

Woodlawn looks gorgeous :yay:

And she already checked into Flora, it's the date thing :ohwell:

Woodlawn is beautiful. Wife and I got married there in 2007 and have attended several weddings there since that time. They have an old barn on the property, but to my knowledge have not used it for weddings. Maybe something could be worked out if they are dead set on a barn...for whatever reason.
Owner is a very good friend of mine and is willing to work with folks to the best of their ability.
If a barn is not a "must", wedding ceremonies on the back lawn, by the creek are awesome and then depending on the size of the party, reception can follow inside the main house or at the ceremony field under huge tents.
