I am sure when and if you get a beagle pup, you'll love it as much as we do ours ... and as mentioned earlier in this thread ... petfinder does have a ton of beagles who need good homes, right after we got ours I looked on there and saw several pups who looked a lot like ours ... it was really hard not to adopt one to be a sister or brother to our pup ... he had a real sister ( he had only 1 littermate ) and we thought about it but decided one beagle was enough and he is ... besides he has "his" cats to keep him company during the day Keep us posted on when and if you get one , would love to hear .

Homeboy, I just happened to be surfing the net today and came across this beagle pup - miss snoopy - on petfinder.com - she is the spitting image of my beagle, uncanny !! Hubby looked at me and just said NO anyways, just thought I would tell you ... heres the link ...

I tell ya, no matter what breed you go for choosing a dog is a huge decision. We wanted to get a Great Pyrenees and love them, but we do not have the space they require, so we got our Lab and love her like she's a child. She's so spoiled. I remember my Aunt and Uncle always had beagles because my Uncle hunts and they were cute too, but very noisey...
