Grand Bahama was GREAT!! There all inclusive packages at the Westin Resort was AWESOME! I would go back again in a heartbeat! Everything was within walking distance, great food, excursions were so fun and the pool was the best part for me!:yahoo:

Jamaica is my Fav.

Check out Superclubs dot com. They have all levels of Adult only to kid friendly. Non-stop flight on Air Jamaica from BWI to Montego Bay. Air Jamaica actually treats you like they appreciate your business. The flight is about 3 hours. Only draw back is only 1 flight there and one flight back daily. Leave BWI Early and Arrive back late. Last time we got an airport transfer through Legacy Limo. Worth the money to me. PM if you want more details.

How in the heck do you get to go out so much with all those spawn? Nevermind. I would have done it as well if I could.

I've been to both, but only on cruises or a private sailboat. I've never been to an all inclusive fly-in jiggy, but that would probably be my choice.

The Bahamas are very touristy if you go to the big islands. Much fun if you stay at say, Marsh Harbor, and then take a boat to the other islands. My favorites are Treasure Cay and Mosquito Cay.

If you want the big casino and whatnot, then stay on the main island. All fun (especially with no kids)

Bermuda is breathtaking. I visited for several days, but mainly stayed on the ship.

In either place, take care if you rent the mopeds. I would suggest a taxi instead.

Jamaica is my fav as well....most of the resorts have transfers included in the price....the last time we went took Air Jamaica...I agree the flight was nice and it was easy getting there, but it was a major debacle at the Montego airport on the way back.....

we went to the Bahamas and thought it was horrible, very ghetto.

well I mean they are all 3rd world countries so what do you expect really?

I've never been to Bermuda, but I've been to the Bahamas several times. Always had a blast! I did the touristy things like para-sailing and snorkeling. I never got to swim with the dolphins, but if I ever get back there, it's first on my to do list. Had a blast in the casinos. Won enough to pay for my trip! :dye: I've stayed on Grand Bahama and Nassau. They treated us very well, as their major income comes from the tourists. The taxi drivers were the scariest people I've EVER driven with though. OMG, I thought I was going to die every time I got into one. Don't drink too much and then climb into a taxi, you'll leave them a present for sure!

I know, I expected it to be beautiful (land and sea wise) and it wasn't at all.

Thats how we went by cruise (which was awesome) we are planning our 2nd one now. Like someone else said to go anywhere you took a taxi and I am not the scared type but thank god I had my husband with me because I alsways felt like something bad was gonna happen. In fact we (2 couples)went to a beach one day at the Grand Bahamas, when we got there me and the other girl were like damn we should have stayed back and shopped at the market and let the boys go on. so we told the guys we where going back to the market and we would meet up with them later. My husband said if you really wanna go we will all just leave I am not comfortable with you 2 going back by yourself and my husband is never like that...

I did love the crystal water and beaches but not everything else, maybe the problem is that was the first time I have ever been to the Islands and I just expected to much. This cruise we are going to St. Martin and St. Thomas. Have you been there what did you think, I have heard they are nicer..

I haven't...but comparing the Bahamas to Jamaica or some places in Puerto Rico I would say that you got a bad example....Grand Bahama, or anywhere a cruise ship pulls in, are where the scam artists and people trying to sell stuff flock..and I mean you can sympathize, they really don't have much...

I agree with your husband not letting you go alone....I would never let girls go by themselves...and we had a big group of girls that wanted to leave Ricks in Negril and go back to the resort...

You should try a stay at Sandals sometime...they are wonderful
