We head over 301 bridge to Virginia thinking we were going to Colonial beach to the race track but he keeps goping and we end up in Port Royal at a place called HORNES. OMG, what a great place. Menu was to die for if your into the diner meatloaf thing. Everything looked so good, I need to go back 5 or 6 more times for both breakfast and lunch and maybe a dinner or 2. I highly recommend.

That place is filthy.wkndbeacher said:You also got St. Marys Landing in Mechanicsville, that has a breakfast buffet on the weekends for 6.95. That isnt bad either.

Sorry for the delay. Marie's is on 301 in La Plata, next to the new Dash In at 301 and 225. I believe they are open for breakfast every day but they are only open for dinner (Mexican) on Fri. and Sat. nights -- so says hubby anyway. I guess they don't get enough dinner business to justify being open every night. I like their Mexican food but I think it's a little expensive.Nicole_in_somd said:Ohhh thanks...where is Maria's?
What is up with the pancake house hours?

Nicole_in_somd said:I love Ihop. I try to go to the one in the park but it is forever busy....
There is nothing like a big pile of steaming hot, butter stack of pancakes.
With extra crispy, bacon and home fries and scrambled eggs with hot sauce and ketchup......
Darn, now I am hungry!
USCGuy said:Haha, I'm often spotted there, at the Ihop in Lexington. I love the 24 hour service.![]()
Nicole_in_somd said:I forgot they were open 24 hours...but then again I am afraid to go to the park in the day time.....at night....???
USCGuy said:There's nothing to be afraid of, just all the pancakes you can eat!
USCGuy said:Wish there was an Ihop down the street from me, I could definitely go for some right now. Has to be my favorite restaurant, right next to the Olive Garden.
