Congrats!

My Fiancee bought two of those belly band things from the motherhood store, and she absolutely loves them! She says they're really comfy and work pretty well.

Thanks, a lot of people have mentioned them. I'm gonna have to check them out. When is your baby due and did you find out if you're having a boy or a girl? Congrats to you and your fiancee, too!

I will definitely reccommend the Bella Bands for maternity, especially if you are having a winter baby, they are great for support and a little warmth in the winter. Also, Ann Taylor Loft has a maternity line which is simple and nice, you can look online and they run discounts all the time! I got most of my maternity clothing from them for less than $15 a piece. Also, if you are plus sized (or almost, like I was), I went to Lane Bryant online and got some great pants (I didn't like thier shirts) in size 14 for like $5 a pair last fall/winter.

Best Wishes on your pregnancy and enjoy that beautiful belly!

Thanks so much! I'm due in March so the baby will be a winter baby like I was. I'm due 10 days after my BDay and 2 days after my Dad's BDay. It'll be my parent's first Grandbaby so I kind of hope I have him/her on my Dad's BDay.

I hadn't thought of Ann Taylor Loft. Less than $15? I'm in! :yay:

Our baby's due date is Jan 1st (21 weeks along right now)! We go tomorrow evening for the 3D sono, so hopefully we will be able to determine the gender then. Thanks for the congrats!

A possible New Years Baby, how exciting! You should find out the gender tomorrow. We have to wait until October 15th for our 3D sono. It seems like so far away, I hope it goes quick. Hubby is so anxious to start on the nursery but we don't want to do a neutral theme.

It's today at 7 pm......its going to be a long day!!

Wow, let us know if you're having a boy or a girl! I'm jealous, I want to know too and have to wait until October to find out! :tantrum

But tomorrow is an exciting day for hubby & I because we'll get to hear the heartbeat for the first time. We've had a couple of sonos done but now we'll get to hear the baby. The funny thing is that hubby puts his ear to my belly and swears he hears the baby. My MIL laughed at him when he told her that yesterday but it's really cute. He can't wait to be a Daddy.

I can't remember the brand name, but the line at JCPenny's was wonderful and cheap, I was actually upset that I couldn't continue to wear some of the stuff after being prego, I got some awesome sweaters and shirts that I adored! At Motherhood you can find some cute stuff on clearance and Target is a good option too! The "band" wasn't that prominent when I had mine, but seems to be a hit, so go for it!
You may want to consider getting some regular stuff just in larger sizes as you may have a "transitional" period after the fact too! My friends and I did that and just rotated all the clothes, between 2 summer girls, a fall boy and a winter boy, we had an entire year's wardrobe of "too big" clothes, so that we didn't despair that we couldn't fit right back into our "regular" clothes.

Good luck and continued success to all of the forumite "ovens!"
