Best Price on Sheds?

Anyone have some input on the best price on sheds in Southern Maryland? Looking for a 12 X 18 with vinyl siding. Delivered of course. I'm off of 231 closer to Prince Frederick.

Thank you in advance.

North Ryceville minibars, down by the tack shop off of North Ryceville Road. Ask to see the "big book" with everyone else's pricing. Tough to sneak one by these guys. He built one for us about 10 years ago and we're still happy with it.

Is price your only criteria?

Can you build one yourself? They're not that hard with basic power tools and free plans on the internet. I built my 16'x16' barn roof with a loft on 2x10 floor joists for around $1600. I'm sure a comparable Amish shed would run around $3500 - $4500.

I.N.S. sheds on Mechanicsville Rd. Price and quality beat everyone that I checked in Mechanicsville, Hughesville area. Custom made locally, any size, style, or color. Don't know know about delivery to Calvert, but definitely worth checking.

Blister... I was down there today. And I think you are right!

BOP, the shed has to be made of wood.

Stad, we all have our own strengths and weaknesses. ;-)

Anybody but Alan's Outlet sheds. Their customer service sucks. Worst liars I've ever run across. 4 months to get a two week promised shed that had to be built 3 times and still isn't right but I finally gave up. Avoid like the plague.

Did you use plans or just start building?

I went searching from Waldorf to Mechanisville in April 2010 and out of all the places I saw, the best price for what I wanted was I.N.S. Sheds (Issac N. Stoltzfus) 26100 Mechanicsville Rd. They are Amish, but they did call me to let me know when they were going to deliver it. I got a 10x16 with a loft, window and front door and a stronger wood floor for $2,600. Not sure of his prices now, but I love my shed.

No plans, I just started building. My friend and I did this one in 3 weekends. This is our 3rd shed we've built and the biggest. The first was at my other house a 10'x16', then his a 10'x12'.

I'm not for hire...sorry.

WOW, that's a lot cheaper than the one we priced. We went to the place, I forget the name, it's in Hughesville, next to Bill's BBQ trailer. Very similar, only had a porch, was over $5,000 !!

NOT Politically Correct!!
I purchased a shed from the Amish shed place off rt 235 in California, MD. I bought an almost new 10 x 12 Cape Cod with optional vinyl siding, dormer, dormer door, 11 lite door upgrade, B windows, gable vents
for $2000 delivered and I received it in 4 days vice 6 weeks! They discounted $1000 off for the floor model!

I know exactly which place you are talking about, I think they were also selling sheds at the Hughesville market. I.N.S was the cheapest, my parents helped me search everywhere for over a month. I also liked how hip roof was slightly different than anywhere else. The only problem I had was that I lived in Charles County and had to drive there to order and make a last min. change (added window) because he didn't have a phone number. However, in his office I saw a fax machine and he did call me twice about delivery.

I think half the neighborhood purchased sheds from them, all in about a 2 week time span.

We're very happy with ours.

:buddies: Thank you, I already called my husband at work and told him. I also found ShedKing that seems a good bit cheaper too. We were thinking of waiting till closer to the end of the summer if it was going to be $5,000. But if it's that much cheaper we won't wait !! I can't WAIT to get to use my garage again for something other than ATV's and riding lawn mower !!
