:yay: Very Good Food.
Hubby and I have been there twice in the last month and there were never more than 5 people in the non-smoking area.

If you don't mind the drive, maccaroni grill and Copeland's in Annapolis and carrabas in Bowie. In Saint Mary's, cafe de artiste, Clarke's Landing and Nook and Monks.

Captain's Table, Stoney's or if you're up for great chinese food, Happy Dragon or China Harbor!!! :yum:

That seafood place in lexington park is not bad. The all you can eat crabs and shrimp was really good and a lot more affordable then stoneys.

Nooks and Monk are gone. Ashai is one of my favorite and Hot Noodle is great. Would not go back to india gardens if the food was free.

You have never had real Mexican food then. We are from Arizona. We make our own. I can handle Monterey, but the other place sucks. JMHO.

Clarke's Landing ALWAYS has great food, but ALWAYS has crappy service... end of statement. It is what it is.

The Willows is fine, I am sure it'll be fine... eh...

Cafe de Artistes, from what I understand, is well put together and offers a pleasant dining experience - IF you like French cuisine. I'm not big on it.

I have yet to hit Tides, but I hear it is wonderful (but there will always be complainers).

I LOVE Nooks n' Monks, because it's not too this or too that and the food is yum-my ...
Again, I love Clarke's food, I just have to be prepared to have the luck of the draw (pulling the tiny stick, of course) and land the server who rode the short bus to work, licking the window all the way! :dork:

If you do go over the bridge and hit Captain's Table, it is a WYSIWYG kind of place. No epicurean air - just good food with diner days wait staff that keep it real, Southern MD style.

The Hot Noodle is :barf: I always wonder 1) why it smells like sewage at the front door. 2) why they can't seem to clean glass. 3) where the adults are.

:yeahthat: I've only been to Arizona, but I can't stand the "Mexican" food around here. It's all way too bland. I'll tolerate Monterey if I have to (i.e. somebody wants to go there for their going away party or birthday), but if I want Mexican food, I'll make it. I can't make it as good as the stuff in Arizona, but I can make better food than any of the restaurants around here.
