Best toast

I have a craving for toast and would like to know who serves the best toast in St. Mary's.

If I get too many contradictory responses, I may just go out on a limb and make some myself. What kind of bread makes the best toast. White or wheat? Maybe rye?

I need some help here please....I'm no food expert.

That would be pumpernickel, topped with butter and honey. White and wheat aren't substantial enough for good toast, and rye is better for sandwiches. I make English muffin bread that is fantastic for toast. Also Costco has this apple struedel bread that not only toasts up nicely, but makes your house smell good, too.

BJ's carries the same type if not the same brand. It is absolutely delicious.

My favorite toast topping I got from the Chesapeake Market in the Prime Outlets in Queenstown. It's made by Stonewall Kitchen and is called "Maple Vanilla Pear Butter." Absolute heaven! It's also great on ice cream and pancakes.

I will have to try bacon. I've never done that and it sounds good.

Growing up, my best friend's mom make peanut butter and bananas on toast.

I cannot keep bananas in this house. I swear, my youngest, is part monkey.

The bacon HAS to be crispy/crunchy. I usually use two pieces of bread and make it a sandwich.
