Best way to Myrtle Beach?

Google Maps is sending us down 95 and then 295 around Richmond and then 95 until we get close to Fayetteville and then a bunch of other roads.

If you have a better route, please share.

That sounds right. By-passing Richmond does save time. Depending on where exactly you're heading in Myrtle Beach, there are lots of ways in. We're heading there now! Enjoy your trip.

We go down to Lumberton and take exit 14 toward Whiteville. We end up on 9 East which takes right to 17 and into North Myrtle up near Cherry Grove.

When we are visiting friends down that way we do 95 to 40 east then 17 south. The new bypasses around J'Ville (Camp LeJeune) and Wilmington are definitely the bomb.

I take 95 to 501 then take 22 to 31 which takes you to 544(Surfside area). Some parts of 501 are crappy , a couple small towns to go though before you get to the good dual highway, but its not too bad. Also 501 will take you to Myrtle Beach, 22 will take you to 17 between north and south MB.

Same here. 95 to 501. Unless we're dropping the MIL off. Then, it's 40 to 17.
