Looking for some part-time waitressing and wondering if anyone could recommend the best places to work or the worst - Calvert or St. Mary's
Thanks!

Never having done this since I don't have the disposition to deal with idiots, I'd have to say the best place to be a waitress would be resturants with the most expensive menues.
Most of the chain resturants along 235 have waiting lines on weekends

10 or more years ago, the Island would be a good place to wait or tend bar or any of the numerous positions made up at a moment's notice. It was a lot of fun and you could make a lot of money. But, alas, I dare say it isn't the case anymore.

So, I could've just as easily not answered!

Not at my house. This waitress spilled Italian salad dressing on her shirt tonight. Instructions should have said "close little floppy thing before shaking." I knew that but I have PMS.

Try the new Outback in Prince Frederick. You can make some good money there. It is going to be packed for a while... Being that it is a new place for PF ...

If I were going to wait tables, I go to Cheesburger In Paradise - according to the forum threads, they are constantly packed. :yay:

You might try The Tides in Lexington Park od Jake and Al's Chophouse in Lusby. They are both rather new places that draw a crowd.

:smack: I leave good tips for good service. Just 'cuz I stiff servers that don't freakin' care about my dining experience doesn't mean I'm a bad customer.
