Professing himself a champion of multiparty democracy, King Gyanendra announced on state-run television today that he had sacked the country's multiparty government, including the same prime minister he had dismissed in October 2002, then later reinstated. He said he would form a new government under his “chairmanship.”
 Kinda like "I believe in democracy, but won't stand for it in my country"

And isn't this the same guy who took over the country a few years ago when his son murdered the king, and something like 20 other members of the royal family, leaving dad as the next in line.

GREAT! Now the Lib's are going to start crying about how Bush is going to invade Nepal in order to corner the market on whatever it is they produce in Nepal.

DARN! I just couldn't wait to go there! It's been #1 on MY list of places to visit! *NOT*

The wierdsmobile trashing the gov't and assuming a Maoist approach was probably bored. <sigh> "it's good to be king..."
