According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, ESPN anchor Sage Steele was iced out of a special for the network regarding race after two colleagues of Steele’s, who are black, complained that the biracial anchor would not be accepted by the black community; or, as Steele herself described it, she was deemed not “black enough.”

“Ms. Steele said colleagues told her she was considered for the special by the executive in charge, Michael Fountain, until two of the other on-air personalities involved, Elle Duncan and Michael Eaves, complained, saying Ms. Steele wouldn’t be accepted by what they considered the Black community, according to the person familiar with her account to management,” the Journal reported Tuesday.

The ESPN special was titled, “The Undefeated Presents Time for Change: We Won’t Be Defeated,” and aired on June 24. “It was a reflection on race and sports after the killing of George Floyd by a white police officer in Minneapolis,” according to the Journal.

This is so confusing. I'm not up to date on the latest urban culture ebony centric requirements to make the cut for this special show. Perhaps this chart will help. Please have someone in authority let the rest of us unenlightened know so we don't make any faux paus.

So would barry obama be dark enough qualified to make the cut. How about RGIII? Remember when an ESPN host made this comment about the former Washington Redskin football club's QB Robert Griffin? “Is he a brother, or is he a cornball brother?”. Don't mistake cornball with cornpop. They are 2 different things. Does being a cornball bro disqualify you? How about Michael Jackson(if he were around)? Perhaps he'd make the show up until his 1984 transformation. I guess Halle Berry doesn't stand a chance. What about that guy that's always kneeling? He'd be perfect for a debate on race, seeing how he was raised in a lily white household. He could give perspective from both worlds. Ben Carson is a member of that community. He's done pretty well for himself. He'd make a great role model of someone coming from nothing but succeeding against the odds.

I guess the black community is pretty selective in who they will listen to.

It's incomplete. I worked with a girl that was probably 5 shades darker than your last contestant.

I don't see LIzzie Warren's picture there on the whiteness scale.

I just read that Sage Steele is considered ESPN’s Candace Owens. That’s all I need to know.

I heard this really, really dark brother going off in the deli. The deli clerk behind the counter was yelling "I said PUMPERNICKLE, not PURPLE Nig" ...well, I think you know.

The Black Hammer Organization = BLM on steroids.

They think if 'indigenous peoples' ran the world, there would be true equality. In reality the world would look like Zimbabwe and Haiti(The black hammerers call Haiti Ayiti, how edgy). For them equality means spreading the misery around equally. People that better themselves need to be knocked down to the lowest denominator. I'll pass on that concept.

I do get some humorous enjoyment out of reading these sort of websites. Nation of Islam is another. At least the SPLC had the balls to list Loony Lou's urban social club as a hate group.

Black Hammer’s Four Principles of Unity

Black Hammer believes firmly that Colonized Poor and Working Class people should have complete dictatorship over our lives, labor, land, and resources, to produce and reproduce for ourselves.

We believe strongly that colonialism and neocolonialism must be thoroughly destroyed in order to solve the greatest problem to ever burden humankind.

Black Hammer believes that capitalism can only be destroyed at the hands of the Colonized proletariat.

The colonial, white power system is notoriously known for creating divisive, illegitimate labels to have Colonized people fight amongst ourselves while it continues to exploit us for its own benefit.

unity my ass

I enjoy a black political group calling out Talcum X as the Grifter he is

Nobody on the left can claim the criticism is Racist

This 100% true and in no way embellished.

As you may or may not know, NOI's official publication is "The Final Call". Some 30 years ago when NOI was occupying a few apartments complexes in D.C., I had an opportunity to peruse a coworker's copy of said publication when he forgot it in the morning conference room. Of particular interest to me was an article which informed devotees that whites were placed on earth by aliens, with the sole purpose of destroying the black race. It was further explained this was evidenced by images that cave men had carved on cave walls. A different coworker then entered the conference room and sat down to which I remarked "Man! My parents have some explaining to do" as I slid the publication over to him and left the room.
