Biden approaches 80 million votes in historic victory

President-elect Joe Biden’s winning tally is approaching a record 80 million votes

as Democratic bastions continue to count ballots and the 2020 election cracks turnout records.

Biden has already set a record for the highest number of votes for a winning presidential candidate, and President Donald Trump has also notched a high-water mark of the most votes for a losing candidate. With more than 155 million votes counted and California and New York still counting, turnout stands at 65% of all eligible voters, the highest since 1908, according to data from The Associated Press and the U.S. Elections Project.

The rising Biden tally and his popular vote lead — nearly 6 million votes — come as Trump has escalated his false insistence that he actually won the election, and his campaign and supporters intensify their uphill legal fight to stop or delay results from being certified, potentially nullify the votes of Americans.

First, I guess when one inserts the same faked ballot in a machine several (even dozens of) times one gets such a vote turnout.

Second, who in their right mind can honestly believe the Biden/Harris ticket crushed either of the Obama/Biden tickets in terms of the popular vote? Are we really going to believe voter turn-out for Biden/Harris was that strong? Based on the eyeball test, I believe (more or less) the Trump/Pence number. But Biden/Harris? C'mon, man!

Or that the participation rate in this year's election was legitimately so high/unprecedented even? You have to be a stupid, dog-faced, pony soldier to buy what the OP is selling! Even CornPop says no way.

I personally don’t think it was a question of Biden/Harris being more popular than Obama/Biden but more Trump/not Trump. I think the majority of people voting for Biden weren’t voting for him; they were voting against Trump.

I absolutely, 100% agree. Let me add two quick comments.

First, yup, "they" hate(d) Trump. But I'm finding "80 millions worth" more than a bit hard to believe (especially on the tails of "most Americans say they were better off than they were four years ago" percentages).

Second, if it is true, man, did Trump ever live in their heads! This #TDS would far, far exceed any rent-free living Obama did in The Right's collective head.
