How could you tell?

I thought he was 5 years ago.
His looks really changed more than any aging men in my family. The end years were not good to old Joe. I don't wish cancer on anyone. I lost my wife and childhood sweetheart to the Bastard. I do despise him to the core, but hope he has enough drugs at his disposal to keep him comfortable, the bastard.

It has to do with how fast the cancer attacks the system and grows.
...some what. This is per my oncologist..

When you have cancer and the location is located ie; colon cancer and is isolated, you have cancer stage 1, 2 or 3 depending on the type of cancer that is diagnosed.

Once the cancer is treated and monitored (such as mine, it was removed via surgery in February 23) then 10 months later when they found a"new" cancer location within my system it was noted as stage 4, because it has spread from one area to other..

I'm sure there could be other explanations but the cancer on my mesenteric artery/apron was noted as stage 4 cancer because it moved from the colon- my colon is now cancer free. When cancer starts moving to different location within your system... it's not good.

(They removed 21 lymph nodes to try to isolate any more movement in a 8 1/2 hour surgery in June 24 known as High Pec. They removed all the cancerous tissue they could and then poured hot Chemo in the colon - abdomen area and "washed" that area for 90 minutes. There is still a small tumor-mass that they were unable to remove. That is why I still need to undergo my chemo treatments to try to minimize its growth.)

Thanks f

Thanks for your kind words and advice..... Had scans yesterday but when I went to the Cancer Center's web site today to get results... this happened! Just my luck.

"Cyberattack brings down Kettering Health phone lines, MyChart patient portal access"

Now it is sit and wait for the results...
Still waiting for scan results.....

Latest update from the cancer center....

Kettering Health’s system-wide technology outage is going into its fourth day with no clear end in sight, though a statement from Kettering Health CEO Mike Gentry on Friday says these types of incidents often range from 10 to 20 days in duration for health care organizations.

Sure doesn't give me a "warm and fuzzy feeling!"

Can you call the doc's office directly and ask?
They called me Wednesday to reschedule my Tuesday Chemo/Blood panel for next week... they can't access any patient's accounts either.

Even their phones do not work, the scheduler called on her cell phone. She knows, after 18 months, that I received chemo every other Tuesday, so called on her own.

As a society we are doomed when a cyber attack shuts down our medical system like this. Air travel, the electrical grid, the banking system - it all relies too heavily on technology that can be taken down by a 15 year old. Artificial Intelligence will not solve these problems - will only make it worse in my opinion.

This is why the government is working with Musk to get more satellites into orbit. The sats communicate by laser. These are actually gigawatt lasers that can be pointed at the EMP bombs in orbit by foreign nations and blow them up, thwarting any EMP disabling of USA terrestrial electronics.

I'm having a sale on tinfoil hats if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone!

Scans are back from May 19 finally, I still can't get all the information I want, but at least they are slowly coming back on line... they compared them to scans from Feb 25...

Scans pretty much stayed the same as Feb's… tumor same size as before.

"No evidence for metastatic disease within the abdomen and pelvis. <---- love that
LYMPHATIC: No pathologically enlarged lymph nodes detected. <---- love that

Peritoneum: A stable 9 mm nodule/lymph node just right of midline within the mesentery (image 77 of series 2)."

(This nodule is the main concern... but the chemo is apparently doing it's job as it hasn't increased it's size for almost a year now- fingers crossed)
