Biden's Economy

Wait!... so now it is OK for the President to claim that the lowering of gas prices at the pump are due to their administration??

Wasn't it YOU that said "Presidents don't control the price of gas!"?

I guess its only OK when your geriatric messiah is the one claiming it. (and handing it off to your ethnically vague 2nd)

Well he increased domestic production and increased the amount released from the strategic reserves so i would say yes.

Trump didn't because he was too busy golfing and having affairs to actually do anything.

How come gas prices have reverted to their old levels or lower historically?
So you think gas prices are at their old level?????

From AAA web site...

Dec 2019 A year-end spike in road trip travel due to the holidays helped to push the national average more expensive on the week – up four cents to $2.58.

Aug 2024

WASHINGTON, D.C. (August 29, 2024)—Pump prices are still falling, but at a slower pace than recently, dipping just two cents to $3.36 since last week

So you think $2.58 is the same as $3.36...

Any chance you passed 3rd grade math? "Class pay attention please. Which number is higher than the other. What? Ms Stmaryscity79: no that is not correct, sorry. $3.36 is not lower than $2.58. Study harder!"

She can't comprehend facts. She's been gobbling down the liberal's bullshat for so long, the truth is alien to her. Bidet gave away our energy independence for his pie in the sky green agenda and ****ed up our whole economy. Azzholes like @StmarysCity79 driving their Priuses to bingo and the healrh food store once a week hardly noticed how bad he's ****ed the middle class.

Gas prices are down to below $3 in more than 12 states

The dow jones hit a record high yesterday.

The feds cut interest rates.

Inflation is slowing

Our economy is recovering faster than any other G7 country.

All signs Biden's economic plan is working

"Economic growth is in the 2% and better annual range, unemployment is at 4.2% (a number that is close to what was once thought full employment), while the stock market has been setting new highs. Indeed, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up more than 500 points as Biden took to the stage.

Those who own homes, stocks or hold their spare money in savings and money market funds have seen their assets rise in value. Seniors have enjoyed higher-than-normal increases in Social Security payments
.
“I don’t see anything in the economy right now that suggests that the likelihood of a recession – sorry – of a downturn is elevated, OK? I don’t see that,” Fed Chairman Jerome Powell told reporters on Wednesday.

"Seniors have enjoyed higher-than-normal increases in Social Security payments"

Do you know why the Social Security increased, it is based on the current inflation rate? Inflation goes up, Social Security rates are increased..... Who was in office when inflation was close to 9%... do you know? If not... the correct answer is Biden and Harris.... geez

The short answer is yes: Social Security benefits are adjusted upward for the effects of inflation. This Social Security cost-of-living increase is officially ...

You need to keep telling everyone just how great the Biden's economic plan is working for them... LOL

Consumers Crushed -- Confidence Lowest Under Harris-Biden

"Consumers’ view on the economy tumbled in September, falling by the largest level in more than three years as fears grew about jobs and business conditions, the Conference Board reported Tuesday.

The board’s Consumer Confidence Index slid to 98.7, down from 105.6 in August, the biggest one-month decline since August 2021.

Each of the five components the organization samples fared worse on the month, with the biggest fall coming among those aged 35-54 and earning less than $50,000.

So you are arguing that Social security is keeping up with current inflation and seniors are getting more money?

What a stupid argument

You are so inept... you're the one bragging that "Seniors have enjoyed higher-than-normal increases in Social Security payments"

Why did the social security rates increase, it was calculated based on the amount of inflation caused by the Biden/Harris? It appears that you aren't smart enough to realize why the Social Security rates were adjusted.

What a stupid argument.

Do you still think $2.58 is the same as $3.36...?

The inflation was caused by the pandemic dummy.

So again, inflation is down, gas prices are down, employment is up and the stock market is higher than ever.

Hey dummy ... inflation was caused by Harris when she voted for the "Inflation Reduction Act"

VP Harris' tiebreaker votes in Senate were key to inflation-boosting Biden policies: expert

As predicted you still think $2.58 is the same as $3.36...? That 3rd grade math is a real struggle for you, isn't it?

LOL

So you don't understand the word reduction.

Why would they put in place something called the inflation reduction act if there hadn't been inflation prior?

Jesus you are stupid.

The current annual inflation rate is 2.5%, the lowest since February 2021.Sep 11, 2024

You are truly a dum-dum!

If you turned on the sink tap enough to flood your kitchen and then turned it down so that 1/3 of the water is coming out... did you improve your situation?

Think about that analogy for a little bit before responding (we all know you won't but, really try!)

I didnt say we had deflation did i?

No i said inflation is down.

Which is exactly what you are saying.

Meaning Biden's policies are working. Especially considering the rest of the G7 countries of the world are still much higher

Jesus you are stupid if there wasn't inflation around 9% there would not have been a need to try to pass an "act" that was suppose to help... it didn't!

Once again for the special people who refuse to understand basic math....

"Class pay attention to this math problem. In December 2019 an item cost $100.00 dollars. Inflation rose to 9.1% in June 2022. The price of that item is now $109.00. In Jun of this year, 2024, inflation had fallen to 3% (Yea from all the Democrats) So class do we recalculate the new price using the $100.00 or the $109.00 number? Right Johnny, you use the $109.00 number. So Johnny share with the class what the original $100.00 item now costs. Johnny you're right, it now cost $112.27. Johnny you get a star for understanding that basic math question. What's that Johnny? Yes, you're correct, there will be a certain group of people who cannot understand this. Oh Johnny please don't call them loser, it's not their fault, sometime math is not one of their better subject."

You said the act which Kamala voted for was the cause of inflation
