Just heard from a friend stuck at the bridge there was a head on collision.
Wow. That picture of the teddy bear falling out of the red SUV. Happy to hear no kids onboard.I was taking rt. 244 home the other day, just came past Whirlwind Road, coming down that hill and there was a bus stopped with flashing lights and stop sign out. The dad was talking to the bus driver, the kids had disembarked from the bus. Next thing I hear is brakes squealing, some idiot flying down that hill was very surprised to see a car stopped for a bus.
TextingHow does one do that on dry roads with absolutely no distractions? There's not a lot going on down this neck of the woods.
I am so glad you are alright.I was almost an accident about 330 this afternoon on St Andrews.
I was stopped to make a left hand turn, signal on. 5+ cars barreled up behind me, yanking their steering wheels, going onto the side of the road, just missing me and each other.
Good thing. You can't depend on folks paying attention. I would like to have a tank to drive around in these days.Went over bridge today and looks like the Calvert side person just went straight at the St Mary side of bridge. I ALWAY have my eyes scanning when i round that bend !!!!!!!!!!!!!
