They're out to get us
Since I saw numerous people suggesting JC Penney's, I went over there and took a look. In their sneaker section I found a grand total of four size 14 shoes and 0 size 15. I asked if they had more in the back but apparently they didn't. Their selection is abysmal and I won't be going back there for sneakers.
I tried Famous Footwear and they had maybe six size 14 shoes in their sneaker selection put out. I didn't ask about the back besides a couple of shoes that they were out of, but maybe they had a slightly better selection. They offered to order and ship them to my place, but then they're no better than Zappos.
I walked into Foot Locker, saw their selection was 99% Nike, and immediately walked out. Nike shoe sizes run funny and I have never found a comfortable pair that has the right size so I wasn't going to bother.

I'll have to look up where the LL Bean is, I haven't seen one around. I forgot about the Big and Tall shop in the Dorf but I didn't think they had much in terms of shoes. I didn't realize 14 1/2 was a size. They always tell me it goes 13, 14, 15.LL Bean carries dress shoes in larger sizes < I wear a 14 1/2 W > The Big and Tall Mens Shop in Waldorf has a small selection of sneakers. The web site lists a lot more types and styles
Awesome. I didn't realize that. I didn't think they would but I completely forgot about them. I'll have to check them out. Thanks!Believe it or not the Payless Shoe Store next to Target carries shoes of all types in your size.
