This accident happened right around 10, wasn't raining in St. Leonard yet, but that doesn't mean it wasn't raining where the accident happened. I haven't heard any more about it, but they did call out a reconstructionist so I'm thinking he was in really bad shape. Prayers to the family of victim.

Just makes me even more scared. My friend will be fine after a long rehab, but he'll be fine...thank GOD. Nothing like seeing that on the table and trying to comfort his daughter.

On Saturday May 12, 2007 at 2152 hours, the Huntingtown Volunteers and surrounding EMS units were alerted for the serious auto accident involving a motorcyle and passenger vehicle at Dalrymple Road and Hardesty Road. Two Huntingtown crews were already on the street operating on a full arrest in the 609 box. With those two crews out, three more crews answered up bringing: Chief 6B (Montgomery), Squad 6 (Lt Thrasher), Engine 62 (S/O Collins), and Ambulance 69 (Rountree, RJ). Units arrived to find a head-on accident involving the motorcycle and vehicle with bystanders performing CPR on the motorcyclist. Due to the injuries incompatible with life, EMS crews pronounced the subject on the scene.

2 in Calvert in less than a week, both head ons. People have got to be careful and don't drink, use drugs or yap on your cell phone while driving. Watch what's around you and be aware that there are more and more bikes on the road, especially this time of year.
