Nice get together tonight. 11 riders on 7 bikes. Good food and good service. Clinton Cycles had a display out front with a Triumph Scrambler and one of the Bonneville models. They offered to set us up with a demo day. We give them a list of the new Triumphs we'd like to test ride and they'll have them gassed up and ready to go for us. All they asked for was 72 hours notice.

got the scoop on Bike night !
hey guys, got the deal on this bike night thing being put on by clinton cycles and lonestar steak house in waldorf (the one on the perimeter road around the mall in case there's more than one lonestar in the area)..ok Lonestar is doing this EVERY thursday night indefinitely and has specials for the bikers that ride in....there are free coupons at clinton cycles (like free appetizers or whatever) and the guys at clinton cycles will set up a booth/display every OTHER THURSDAY.. (i.e aug 23, sep 6, sep 20 and so on)...however...CLINTON CYCLES will have a ride leaving from their store every thursday to the mall....just meet up there at 7:00 when they close and some of their employees will head on down there...think they're gonna pick some back roads to get there but no long ride due to darkness coming faster upon us as we get later into the season...on the thursdays that Clinton Cycles does set up a display it will be from 6-8 pm....one MAJOR !!!! difference between this event and like the lot at cranberries in pg county is that lonestar WANTS US....yes they WANT US TO SHOW UP !!!!!..in case you didn't know riders..the cops cleaned out cranberries after the owners wanted the bikes out and the same thing is happening at fridays in greenbelt...the greenbelt cops are ticketing everything to get rid of the bikes hanging out but Lonestar is SPONSORING this in their lot so we are safe...i think this will grow alot once word get's out !!!!...nice post by the way tin man

Think they want just business I think it's suffering from the reputation the mall is getting so they're looking for customers that are not easily intimidated .
We showed up with 11 riders last week, they slapped a few tables together and were ready before we got done talking to the Clinton Cycles guys, sitting on the new Triumphs and making vrooom vrooom noises. We had 2 waitresses, taking care of us so service was great and the food was good.
FYI the Southern Cruisers are dining at CIP this Thursday

hi tin man....triumph rider here....enjoy your posts...you lend a calming influence to the board...a good thing....so what and where is CIP?...thanks...talked to steve (their parts manager) at clinton cycles and he says they already got a couple folks showing up there tomorrow for the ride to lonestar....not sure if i'll be going....
