You can find a LOT of bikes with wore out tires, with the chicken strips still intact. Tires last longer if you spread out the wear thoughout the entire tread.
Update: I PASSED! I got three points off on the skills test while doing the figure 8...I made the turn with room to spare turning to the left and then went over the line turning to the right. I could do it in the initial practice session and then the same thing happened every time in the second practice session. :shrug: I'll pick up my base stickers sometime this week (they only need ths MSF card) and then get my license on Friday (CWS).
My new coworkers are going to Sturgis...
