Bikes/car accident in Lusby/Solomons

Husband said he saw 2 or 3 motorcycles in a crash w/ car in front of Food Lion. Northbound traffic on 2/4 will be affected. He said it looked bad. Am booting up (very slow computer) in front of store to listen to scanner.
Anyone?

My boyfriend is stuck in it. He said he can see someone in the road and the paramedics are working on him.

UGH I hope they are going to be ok

Don't know the details other than the incident was supposed to be infront of the Burger King. Cancelled St. Mary's Co. 79 to the scene and rerouted them to fill in Solomons.

Wonder if it was at the 3 way stop? Bad intersection; almost got t-boned there last week myself.
Hope the people from the accident are ok.

It was at the intersection in front of the Food Lion / McDonalds / Burger King / Ritas. NB traffic was closed for sure, SB traffic I am sure was closed for a time as well and slow due to looky-loo's. How's the traffic situation now?

does any one know where they went?? pg or baltimore. i was there and both was moving they hands. a guy say that 2 bikes was stop at the intersection in front of bk and the other bike hit one bike from the back.

My husband said it looked pretty bad too, and also said the paramedics were working on the one guy when he went by. Horrible, I really hope they are all okay.

I went south as the ambulance was leaving which was a while ago. Traffic was moving but slightly backed up. Got home (northbound) about 1/2 hour ago and it was clear.

We were down there, there were two motorcycles, one green and one black.

Witnesses at the Burger King said they saw the green bike stopped at the light headed north bound at the BK/Asbury intersection. The person on the black bike didn't even stop and ran right into the green bike. The driver of the black bike flew in the air and landed quite a distance away.

We heard priority 2 over the scanner for the helicopter.

And I wasn't saying it to put down the people involved, I was just saying it sounded like crotch rockets (namely because I don't know a whole lot of Harley's and the like that are green).

Yes saw them. They were crotch rockets. When I went past they were loading someone in an ambulance and someone was on the ground still being worked on.
