Any other suggestions on where to look for a 18" boys bike? I've tried
Toys'R Us
Walmart (Waldorf & California)
Kmart
Target (Waldorf & California)
TrueValue (Leonardtown & CH)

Hubby went to Mike's Bikes and the dude there said they aren't making that size anymore. 20" are too big and 16" too small. Ty hasn't asked for a bike but his old one is getting too small so I thought it would be a nice Santa gift.

Try Pax Adventure Center over in Solomon's.

They have quite a few kids bikes there, SO they might have it. Ask for Dave or Drew.

ON second thought I am going there tonight for a class, I will ask them. That will save you a trip.

I called them and he said that he doesn't have them either. 18" is very hard to locate.

We bought an 18" bike for Boy for his B-day this year. You are correct, darn near impossible to find. Toys R Us was the only place we could find one.

couldn't you just use the 16" one and raise the seat all the way up?

Or how about a 20" with the seat all the way down....He will be growing ya know....Then you could raise it up as he grows.....

That's what we did, hubby went to Mikes Bikes and got a 20" but it was $150:yikes: Def. more than we wanted to spend but with the regular bikes the span from the seat to the handle bars was too far to reach and this one has adjustable handle bars and the seat can go from 16" to 24" so hopefully it should last him for quite a while. Plus there is a 5 year warranty on the frame and a 2 year on most of the parts.

 He'll be so tickled....You can always take it back to Mikes for adjustments and stuff like that as he grows.....
