"Would you pay $180 for a bird poop facial?
National Monitor, Lance Tillson | August 04, 2013

Most people try to avoid getting hit by a poorly aimed piece of bird poop, but some are willing to pay $180 to have the avian feces smeared all over their face. Believe it or not, approximately 100 customers visit the Shizuka New York skin care salon each month to get a bird poop facial, according to The Associated Press. The salon utilizes imported Asian nightingale poop combined with rice bran for the $180 facial. The facial is said to maintain the face’s soft features by utilizing an enzyme in the feces to exfoliate the skin."

I can think of better ways to dump $180.

well, as you know, everything in NY costs twice as much or more, so I am sure we could get a poop facial here for at least half that cost. So who's up for a $90 facial?

Speaking of facials, and this is a serious question, why does a 45 minute massage facial cost the same price as a full body massage (is it just the similar length of time?)? AND I would think that no one would even want a 45 minute facial? The face is small, seems like a long time to only work on 1 part of the body. There must be benefits to a 45 minute facial because many women get them I hear.

at the risk of juvenile jokes..already started by tox :killingme I adore facials. They clean, analyze your skin, deep cleanse, exfoliate, do extractions, do a mask, a nice neck, arm, and scalp massage and some moisturizing. Its glorious and I wish it lasted longer than an hour sometimes. so relaxing.

OK I get the time it takes to do that type of facial, but what about the strictly facial massage for an hour? I'd rather have a whole body for the same price.

Ive never seen a face massage offered..a facial with massage, sure. But a face only massage with no facial? that seems strange.

We were remodeling our house, and had to go to the Land Fill to dump some trash. There were thousands of Sea Gulls there doing what Sea Gulls do at a dump. Some heavy equipment scared a bunch of them in to the air, and guess who was looking up? I got a load of crap in my eye, that wentin my mouth, and down my neck. No Bird Pooh Facials for me..thank you!!

I saw this on the last episode of Buckwild. People are just foolish. I can think of 180 other ways to spend $180!

Do you have Parrots too? Their poop is like glue, isn't it?

I do not have parrots, but I know someone that has several of them if you require parrot poop. I thought bird poop was bird poop.

Can I charge more for parrot poop versus cockatiel poop?
