tea room in leonardtown. I STILL remember my American girl tea party ( my fave was Samantha the victorian rich chick lol) my mom threw for me when I was younger...petit fours, tea sandwiches, tea...wearing gloves..I loved it. we made crafts and stuff. really fun.

Great idea. Lemon Drop or something like that is in LaPlata and they do them too. That's a little closer for me. I'm in waldorf.

What kind of parties do they do at Flat Iron? I talked to her about the movie theatre and she doesn't want to "watch a boring movie". She said she wants them to be able to run around and play. I also thought about a game show party. Any suggestions on that idea?

I am just having a small bday party at the house for my kid but we are going to do "minute to win it" as a game - that may be a good idea or just play music and let them dance or have some carnival/game/craft stations set up they can do.
