So who went "EARLY BIRD" shopping yesterday?

Not sure but I HAD planned to hit the Best Buy until I saw the line and HEARD people had been in line since 3pm Thursday and it was OUT fo Rt 301 in Waldorf..............CRAZY..................

Well I ended up going to Circuit City with a friend of mine and we were in at 450am and at the register by 508, UNTIL they told her she had to stand in ANOTHER line to get her computer..........WELL that line ended up averaging 30minutes PER PERSON(we were #7 in line) to check someone out, so needless to say we didn't check out UNTIL 9am.................WHY would it take THAT long to check someone out, RIDICULOUS

In that amount of time, my husband & mother had been to 5 stores and finished the remainder of my shopping.

This was my FIRST year at an electronics store and my LAST.

I will stick to the Toy stores

I avoided all stores yesterday, with the exception of SFW.

3 of us got in line at 8:00pm Thur at Best Buy, we got
2 laptops $250 each
3 desktops $190 each
2 digtal cameras $80 each
2 video cameras $130 each
1 32inch flat-panel TV $470
and some other stuff

For what we saved it was worth the wait.

A prego lady was in line and her water broke. She didn't want to leave and lose out so she decided to stay. Guess what the store did for her....

So that's how early you needed to be at BB to get the 32" flat panel! 7AM Friday morning didn't cut it for DH. While he was battling doorbusters I shopped webbusters in my bathrobe.

Shoot its true. I saved with all kinds of online specials, most were free shipping or free shipping upgrades. All were gift wraped and delivered in less than 3 days. So now I am done.


I just do not get why anyone would wait in line for anything.

Your christmas present came wrpaed in a plain brown wrapper. You want it now or can you wait for it?

I can put up with the shopping aspect of Black Friday, but when it comes to stocking the shelves the night before at Target... *faints*

On a normal night working at Target I would come home and sleep... wake up... go to work... and so on with no time for anything in between. I often passed out in the car on the way home, and that was unloading 1-2 trucks a night. Black Friday last year we unloaded 4 trucks.

4 trucks.

I hate Target. With all the people that have moved here since last year, I can't imagine how many trucks they unloaded this past Friday. I'm so glad I didn't have to be there to find out!

I got up and went to Dick's. I wanted to buy a new driver. So I went and tried out a whole lot of them. The best one I could really hit with was the exact same one that went on sale Friday. It was 450 dollars, which is why I never bought it. But on Friday, it was 99 bucks, first come, first served and while in stock supplies lasted. Man, it was worth it. YIPPIE FOR ME GOD DAMNIT!!!!
