Adopt me please !
A fellow rescuer has an 8 month old Black Lab puppy available for placement. He is up-to-date on shots and gets along with other critters and children too! His name is Sam.

The lab is housebroken. I asked the foster to hold onto him for me for today so I can see if someone here is interested. So if you are, PM me please. The puppy is located in Indian Head right now so that's where you'd need to go to meet him unless you make other arrangements with the foster (she can be flexible).

I am still trying to ascertain if the lab is a mix or pure. Either way this a "rescued lab" being fostered to re-home him. I do not know his story just yet.

So far Sam is still available. There have been a couple people who have expressed an interest in meeting Sam but I am not sure if one has done so yet and the other may do so soon.

Sam sounds like a great puppy.

Is he still available? I have one now that just might want a little bro.... I bet if I asked wifey real nice, she'd let me adopt him.... I thought for sure he'd be gone by now...

:yahoo: Get him. I know your doggy would be happy with him. Besides, think of the Christmas photos with their little Santa hats on....

I can't understand why black labs are so hard to place. They're beautiful - certainly prettier than their chocolate counterparts. Such smart sweet dogs. :)

Pass!!!!

After much pro and con listing, thinking how great it would be for Wasabi to have a buddy, we decided last night that another dog simply isn't a good idea.

Actually, Wasabi decided.

Actually, the skunk decided the issue.

Actually, we did decided after Wasabi decided after the skunk decided.

It was a big enough job washing her 50 times last night. We simply can't afford the mountain of baking soda and barrels of vinegar and tankers of shampoo two dogs would require.
