If the facts are properly presented, the 10 guilty should be convicted and no innocents should be imprisoned.

I find it eye opening when there is a case with multiple offenders. 1 of them will get leniency to rat out the others. If I was on a jury, I'd take the testimony of someone getting a sweet deal with some apprehension. They might be a little too happy to throw their co conspirators under the bus and end up embellishing their actions. But the DA wants the win, so I guess the means justify the ends.

I have never been in a position to choose but if given a deal and you are guilty, why risk going to trial and facing a much longer penalty? I get the idea that if you are found not guilty, you go free. But the hammer is a lot heavier if found guilty.
