Blessing of the Bikes

I am going, it has pretty much become a tradition for us. I like walking around the parking area and looking at everyones bikes, and laughing at some of the home-style paint jobs people attempt.

Been once....thought it(and the "after party") where nothing but another reason for a bunch of bikers and/or wan-na-be's to get together and drink

And then they get to ride home :ohwell:

Went to the one in Hollywood a couple of years back....smaller crowd....not such a drunkfest

I went to the one in St Mary's a few years back and it was ok. I don't believe in the blessing of the bikes at all but the food was good and I saw some friends there and some people from both local Harley shops (Ft Washington and All American).
All in all it was "so so" and I doubt I would go back unless someone asks me to go with them. Wayyy too many bikes there and I hate parking in the grass & dirt.
Isn't that the weekend of the Tiki Bar opening??

:gossip: for most attendees, it's food, friends and a good way to start the riding season

Well maybe I am wrong. They usually open the 3rd Friday in April for the last 10 years.
I had dinner tonight with some friends at that Japanese steak house near CIP next to JC Pennys?? and as I was coming down 235 I saw the sign again. It is on the north bound side of 235 right at Sandgates road where that old burned up house is. I could swear that it said April 24,25 & 26. I'm probably going down that way again tomorrow but if any of you live near there check it out for us. It's a small blue & white sign in the grass right next to that burned house. There's an ice cream/deli on that corner too.

Are you coming? I'll make it a point to say hi to you and bring a handful of Uncle Ben's fuel for your bike.
How many of the "tards" will be there and I guess you all know each others faces??
Remember the first one is in MY county. The next one will be on your turf.:howdy:

Went to Ruby Tuesdays tonight and I got a close up of the sign in question. I have to say I stand corrected Baja28 but it wasn't my fault.
The sign DID say Tiki Bar opening April 24, 25 & 26 but the sign was folded over on top. When I got a close up it said: Seebreeze Tiki Bar opening April 24, 25, & 26. Tiki Bar is in large bold letters and Seabreeze was in lighter, smaller ones.:notworthy:
