Just. You "just" put it in their mouth.

:roflmao:

Claude won't let me get near her with a foreign substance. I used to give Moosie and Katnip hairball remedy and they'd lick it up, but Claudia fights me off, then runs and hides.

Yeah, I've tried every one from the stick they lick to the pet-o-malt goo. There is no way any of it is going in their mouths without a fight.

I put the gloppy stuff on the inside side of their paws, instinctively they clean their paws and lick it off and they get it that way. Its alot easier.

I think my male cat was starved in a previous life. He regularily gorges himself then yaks 30 seconds later. God forbid his bowl is ever actually empty for a few moments, he panics. He will follow you around the house yowling like a lost soul. He has food issues...

I have four males and one female -- one of males does the same exact thing. he eats like no tomorrow and then 10 minutes later you hear the gag reflex working then you hear the chunks coming up. Every night when I come home the same thing, he will meow me to death until i feed him, then again, the same process.

Apparently, this is common.
I had a cat that did that and now, my mom has one (stray) and her's does it with any kinda food and it seems to keep weight on.

I wonder what the deal is with cats that do this?

are your cats allergic to anything, I have a friend whos cat is allergic to any catfood that is red (the dye in it I guess) it will make the cat throw up any time it eats that kind of food. just an idea.
