Both my husbands and my phone have done that. I took them to Verizon and they just gave us new ones. I think it was something to do with the software.

Cool and Thanks!

BTW, Is there a way to off-load/down-load your contact info from the old to the new phone?

Nextel has a little do hicky thing that can transfer info from nextel to nextel. I would imagine Verizon would have something similar

Go to "Get it Now" Download the Back-up Assistant.. It will back up your entire contact list online, and you can go to verizonwireless.com to update your contacts, import adress lists, or just add a single contact. This way if your phone ever just craps out, you can recover your contacts onto your new phone.

Thanks Bob, will I need an interface cable for the cell phone?

Nope, it's all done through the cell phone.. the changes you make on your computer are updated on your phone when you go to the backup assistant on your phone and click "Backup Now".

Depending on which plan you are signed up for it's either a free service or a 1.99 a month.

The address online is www.verizonwireless.com/backupassistant.. Edit, Print, add.. etc.
