Does anyone know why it is that when i post a .bmp
it wont "move" like its supposed to? It just shows up as a regular image.

Did you resize it before you were trying to post it?

I may be mistaken (it happened once before...), but I believe the little animated pics are .gif files, not .bmp's. Try to save the orignal animated file as a .gif, and you should be hooked up.

I think.

Maybe.

If you edit a .gif without an animation editor you will more than likely lose the animation.

If it always tries to save it as a .bmp, you can still save it as a .gif.

When you select the file to save it, it gives you the box where you name the file (it's usally already pre-named)...now, just add a ".gif" to the end of it. So, if you were trying to save a pic called "keradisgreat", you would add the".gif", making it "keradisgreat.gif".

After it's saved, right click the icon, check the properties, and it SHOULD have saved as a .gif file.

It's easier to show than explain...I hope that made sense.

Or use the pull down menu under the file name and select .gif

Yeah...that works if it's listed. Many times it isn't...or just gives an "all files" option. That's were I learned the "addition to the name" trick.
