Just for Larry ...what a 2000 meter Mk1Mod0 eyeball rifle sight looks like. And lookit that windage adjustment!..I think it's calibrated in "number of counties, to left or right":killingme

Trying to recall which Gun had this almost identical sight.. Normally it layed down, for "normal" ranges, but it flipped up for long range engagements..

M1 Garand maybe?

This is another typical long-range sight for a 7.62 x 54 rifle...shown in the 100m (min) and 1500m (max) positions. No adjustment to correct for windage on this one, so yr on your own.
