Body Shop Recommendations

Ok, I'm in need of some body work for my truck, had a minor altercation. Looking for a decent body shop not too far from Lex Park/California, someone you have used, are pleased with, and trusted.

I stopped at Georges on Pegg Road last month for something else, and I just didn't get a real warm and fuzzy from the guy.

George's did my truck when some teenager took out both drivers side doors, then a month later when a big doe took out both passenger side doors.

They did a good job, had a paint issue and they took it right in and buffed it out.

I had a hit and run with my whole left back-side of my Honda CRV. Nationwide gave me 2 choices: Two Guys or Wentworth. Went to Two Guys (because it was closer), they are behind Cheseldyne car wash.
I don't have anybody to compare them with, but to me they were outstanding with their work and courtesy calls.

PJ's is my first choice, they are excellent. Great customer service, and they do a really good job.

Once, George's broke the front window doing work on the roof of my vehicle. Insurance paid and it was their recommended shop, but I always wondered why, if during their repair and they broke a window, why my insurance should have to pay....the window was fine when I took it in.

George's ripped me off big time when I was transferring in the Navy to Rota Spain. They were supposed to do a bunch of Pre-maintence work before I transfered and I shipped my car. They charged me, but never did the work. It was stuff like changing out hoses, filters, all, etc., about $500.00 dollars worth in the 80's. I ended up staying locally and as the months went by, I found out they didn't do any of the work I paid for. Young sailor girl ...perfect to rip off before she ships out of country. What a rip off they were. I still get p1ssed and it's been over 20 years.

Georges did a horrible job on my car. Paint didnt match, overspray on the insides of the door jams and there are bubbles in the paint.

PJs on the other hand painted some parts and the color was perfect with no overspray and no bubbles.

Another recommendation for PJ's.

I like Two Guys work, but they take forever and a day.

I will never use George's again. My insurance pushed me to them once when I got hit by a deer (yes I got hit by a deer not the other way around). After the shoddy job they did, I refused to use them ever again and complained loudly to my insurance company.

Oh as an FYI to everybody:
I have since found out that just because your insurance company "suggests" a body shop, by law, you can use any body shop you want, and they have to pay that body shop.

I didn't know that the first time around.

PJ's by far...

Funny thing is George from George's Body shop is PJ's grand father.....Glad that he doesn't do businesss like him....

Well, thanx all for the inputs. PJs is pretty close and everyone seems to have something good to say about them, so I'll start with them today.

This is new to me in the respect that this is the first car I've damaged since I was a teenager. Haven't been to a body shop in many, many years.
