But with just change you have 90 days to accumulate $300 by rounding up. That is a stretch, don't ya think?
You have three months to get the account to $300, and you're right, I think in the three months I accumulated about $50.. the rest I transferred in from checking.

But wait, there's more...
I didn't read the $300 thing in the fine print I saw. I didn't open a savings account, though. I have it dumping into my MM account which has more than $300 in it already, so maybe it doesn't apply in my case.

I've never been charged a fee for using my bank (Visa) debit card. I hardly carry cash with me, so I'm always swiping the thing. I write about 10 checks per month, and those are for bills.

I swipe the thing so much I cracked it a few weeks back and had to wait for a new one. :lmao:

But I have to chose "credit" which is deducted out of my checking account to avoid being charged a fee like I would if I use mine as a "debit."

Thanks Bob, you gave a good deal of information.

You still write checks for your bills:faint:

I do, too

Mostly bills that either charge a fee to pay them online or can't get paid online
If you are a BofA customer, there's no fee to use online web bill pay -- not by the bank nor the payment recipient.

:yeahthat: You can pay anything online with them:yay: And if the other company isn't set up to recieve payments online BoA just cuts them a check and sticks it in the mail:yay:

I guess for me it is a "trust" issue....I don't trust someone else to stick the payment in the mail

I've had some bad experiences with the bank that I had before BofA and the trust is just not there yet

LOVE it, and now you can say when you want it delivered, so you know the exact date it is going to get there, and the money not removed from your account until it does get delivered.

So I schedule everything to be delivered ON payday, it has to get sent out two or three days prior, works out great. :yay:
