Boiled Peanuts Part 6

At least part 6, probably more.... Remembered a lot of discussion, pro and con on this subject, and a quick history search shows a distinct line drawn between likers and haters with forumites. Personally, never had them coming from the north but I'd give them a try if I am up in Lusby.

I've had them right from a roadside stand in north Georgia. Not a fan.

Saw a sign advertising boiled peanuts from a small white tent in Prince Frederick at corner of 4/231 a couple of weeks ago. Not there now.

Never had them, but they don't sound appetizing.

I tried them in Florida. Tasted like a bean to me. It was okay.

Never had the peanuts, but we used to do that every winter with chestnuts.

There used to be a guy selling them outside Pax River gate 3 a couple days a week. That probably fell off since the base skipper messed up the gate hours.

Tried them in SC and my first impression was "YUK"

Since we were "poor farmers" but with an abundance of soy beans, those ended up boiled on the dinner table quite often. Boiled peanuts reminded me of those times...similar taste and texture. nah.
