Anyone else eat these?
Do you like them hot or cold?

I love them both ways~ Me and the kids love them but hubby thinks they are awful.

I got a bushel of raw peanuts last summer while in MB and had my uncle boil them for me. I packed 32 ziploc quart bags full packed them on ice and bought home with me.

I just love them.

My hubby and 6 yr old daughter LOVE them. We used to get them at the farmer's market in Ch. hall. I believe she was trying to sell her business the last time we were there. I bought the ones they have either in a can or in a microwavable pouch from Food Lion once. Hubby says they're not bad but I'm sure they'll never hold a candle to the real deal.

Oh no! Nothing compares to the real deal.
I will say that the ones in the store have less sodium

I have never had the ones from CH Farmers market. Not sure I would want to try either

They were actually good. She boiled them right there and had several different seasoning you could pick from. Her set-up was portable so I guess she could tow it to other places. She did give us her business card and said you could order them and have them shipped to you but she was no longer going to do the "cart thing".

Am I the only one that doesn't like boiled peanuts?

:barf: no you are not the only person that doesn't like boiled peanuts, they are gross!!! I was in South Carolina a couple of years ago and all I saw were signs for boiled peanuts, so I bought some....yucky!!

First and only time I had them was when we were living in Florida - husband bought them and I tried one. I swear, it was like biting a mushy piece of mud. ick. I love roasted and salted-in-the-shell and chocolate covered and honey glazed and peanut butter, but the rest of you are welcome to take my share of boiled.

well maybe I will keep that in mind for when I do run out of those 32 bags.

Darwin was right
We have one big open container in the fridge right now and more frozen in the freezer. Every time we go visit the family in Florida, Gophette's Dad always has a big batch ready for us to bring back. Our grandson loves them and we have to fight over them to get our share.
