I hope it's more railgun, love me some railgun..... When last we checked on our intrepid new gun tech, the issue was barrel erosion, well that and budget issues Which I would suspect that "Big Ammo" might have been behind, becuase about the same time they put RGs on life support, there was Great NEWS!!!!! about some new ammunition that only cost some stupid amount per round. But they were not killed, but rather put on a minimum level of effort.

Maybe someone has had some progress on the barrel erosion. And maybe smart people have figured out a 5 million dollar gun shooting $5000 dollar non explosive rounds at Mach 6 might be more effective than "bullet missiles.
