Deputy Anthony Whipkey responded to a local flea market for the reported "Bootlegged" Property that was for sale. Once on the scene he recovered more than three hundred (300) illegal DVDs and CDs. There were current theater playing movies that were illegally recorded and now for sale. Suspect Barry William Bredlinger (Age 29 of Lusby) was arrested and charged with several counts. Additional charges maybe pending a State's Attorney's Office and Grand Jury review.
I've been to the Farmers' Market bunches of times and have seen DVD's for $3.00. They had to be bootlegged. My mom was so excited that she bought my son NickJr DVD's last year and they were so cheap. Opened them up and the DVD labels were just blank white. On top of that the coverart was printed on cheap copy paper.
Why isn't this place busted every day? I used to stop in to buy produce while on my lunch break and always saw the bootlegged DVD's and CD's.
