Bored at work?? Riddle time! Answer them if ya can

If anyone has "class" and does NOT wanna read incredibly stupid jokes and riddles, go back now... but heck your already on the page so scroll down and see if your as smart as you think you are!

*Riddle One* - A farmer has to transport a fox, a goose and a sack of grain across a river. The boat is so small that there is room only for him and one of the others at a time, but if he leaves the fox and goose together the fox will kill the goose, and if the goose and the sack of grain are left together the goose will eat the grain. How does he get them all over? (3 Possible Answers)


*Riddle Two* - I run over fields and woods all day. Under the bed at night I sit not alone. My tongue hangs out, up and to the rear awaiting to be filled in the morning. What am I?

*Riddle Seven* - An old farmer died and left 17 cows to his three sons. In his will, the farmer stated that his oldest son should get 1 / 2 , his middle son should get 1 / 3 , and his youngest son should get 1 / 9 of all the cows. The sons, who did not want to end up with half cows, sat for days trying to figure out how many cows each of them should get. One day, their neighbor came by to see how they were doing after their father's death. The three sons told him their problem. After thinking for a while, the neighbor said: "I'll be right back!" *Riddle Seventeen* - A woman shoots her husband. Then she holds him under water for over 5 minutes. Finally, she hangs him. But 5 minutes later they both go out together and enjoy a wonderful dinner together. How can this be?

*Riddle Eighteen* - Only one color, but not one size, Stuck at the bottom, yet easily flies. Present in sun, but not in rain, Doing no harm, and feeling no pain. What is it.

*Riddle Nineteen* - I am slim and tall, Many find me desirable and appealing. They touch me and I give a false good feeling. Once I shine in splendor, But only once and then no more. For many I am "to die for". What am I?

*Riddle Twenty* - I'm sometimes white, Although sometimes I'm black. I take you there, But never bring you back. What am I?

*Riddle Twenty1* - There was a man one night. He started to run straight forward. Then he turned left. Soon after, he turned left again. Then he started running toward home. When he got home there were 2 masked men waiting for him. Who were they.

*Riddle Twenty2* - Why can't Kevin Larousse, who is now living in Canada, not be buried in the USA?

*Riddle Twenty3* - Two planes take off at the same exact moment. They are flying across the Atlantic. One leaves New York and is flying to Paris at 500 miles per hour. The other leaves Paris and is flying to New York at just 450 miles per hour. Which one will be closer to Paris when they meet?

*Riddle Twenty4* - Joe bought a bag of oranges on Monday, and ate a third of them. On Tuesday he ate half of the remaining oranges. On Wednesday he looked in the bag to find he only had two oranges left. How many oranges were originally in the bag?

*Riddle Twenty5*- I know a word of letters three, add two and fewer there will be?

#1: He takes the goose across the river. Goes back, then picks up the fox and takes it across the river. He picks the goose up and brings it back to the original side of the river. Then he picks up the grain and takes it over with the fox. Then he goes back and gets the goose.

#1 Bring Goose over. Go back pick up grain. Drop grain off and take goose back to start. Pick up fox and bring to grain. Go back empty and pick up goose.

#23 The plane that left paris. When they "meet" they will be nose-to-nose. Thus the tail end of the Paris plane will be closer.
#24: Six. Monday eats 1/3 which is two. 6-2=4. Tuesday eats 1/2 half which is 2. 4-2=2. Two left on Wednesday

#1 1st journey takes goose only, leaving fox and grain. Returns leaving goose on other side.
2nd journey takes fox over, leave fox on other side, returns with goose.
3rd journey takes grain over leaving on the other side with fox. Returns and picks up goose again taking it over on the 4th journey.

Answers.

The first riddle is rather... indecisive. Mandingo is the closet one though.

The goose can swim. The farmer puts the fox and the grain in the boat and swims over with the goose in the water with him. (I think the riddle is more of a time sensitive question)

So far Riddle Six is the only one unanswered. What... no one wants to try and give it a shot?? I'll give you a hint. He has to say something true, ;) :popcorn:

Since you guys blew by this set so quickly after someone answers the last riddle I'll put some more up.
