As much as I wish I could, there is no way I can take another dog. If it was for a few days, possibly, just to get him out of there, but I can't get to WV before Thursday.

I'll get my aunt's email addy from my mom tonight and send her a link. She's lost two dogs (due to old age) in the past few months so the herd is a few shy. Crazy animal people runs in the family. She has a dalmation/pit mix that she adores and when I got Scoops she told me to let her know if I ran across any more in my travels... Boxer, Pit Bull.... Close enough.... :yay: It's worth a shot.

I'm leaving town from the 15-21 (August), so I couldn't take it into foster until I return it would have to be somewhere until then.

I don't think you'd have to go all the way, this group works very hard to move them.

And she's not too far away. She's in Frederick!

That would be a great thing! I'm going to start a correspondence with them and see what's going on.

They have 2 beautiful kittens on their site as well that we should take if we can!

Doesn't look like a mix to me...

What's with these dogs with no teeth? I'm assuming they're just worn down.

And this one makes me :bawl:

Didn't look mixed to me either.

I think most of the dogs they get are from people that really don't care and have had them on chains or penned up forever. I don't know how they could wear their teeth down at the shelter as they aren't there long enough....

As my other post looking for temporary fosters shows, I'm on a very short time frame leash, but I'm willing to do what I can to save what dogs I can, I just can't foster anymore at my place....

Unfortunately, I can't either. With the four I have and my commute, I just can't do it. Plus, Otter gives me that look. But I look after my 95 year old grandmother and have other family commitments that take up my time too.

But there's just something about his face....

If I had to do a long commute I couldn't do it and if I had a SO in my life I probably couldn't either. My family is too far away, my only problem is when they get sick (like when my mom was dying of cancer), that affects the dogs I have in my care.

Sometimes there is something about these guys that you just can't hardly turn your back.

Catt if you can find someone that can help we can start working it....

Does my butt look big?
I might be able to take one for a few days...I have 5 boxers here...My Libby came back with a broken tooth too..I think peeps tie them out and they chew on the chain and the wire cages etc..If one comes here he wont have alot of run time with the rotations I have here for the outside yard..plus it is hot and I have been keeping mine in..

My current idea (which doesn't sound believable) is to have someone take the brindle and put it in my yard. I will tell Otter it fell over the fence.
