You didn't, I said you were a cop hater for making diparaging remarks for absolutely no good reason! All of the on duty deputies were tied up on two shooting scenes with large crowds so the Calvert Sheriffs office responded to a crime scene to help us out and somehow, in your mind, that seemed like a good time to insult our Sheriff.

Keep up!

I didn't "insult" the Sheriff. I didn't call him fat, stupid, lazy, etc.

I merely said or implied that he is not doing a good job. It is quite obvious that the crime rate has not improved during his watch. Someone else may do a better job or at least deliver on the promises they made during their election. The people I insult are the ones who constantly complain about the crime in St. Mary's yet, keep re-electing our Sheriff Cameron.

Just stay in your safe space, outside the arena where you're free to complain, bitch, insult, whatever without ever putting youself in a place of risk.

It appears, here, we have a boot wearer, or a boot licker. Can't really tell yet. But I'm thinking the latter. You know, those kind of people that gladly, wantingly, giddying, get on bent knees to lick the boots of authority in the hopes of being shown some kindness or leeway? Blindly supporting, while lambasting any criticism no matter how small or inconsequential? Yup. That's a what I'm a thinking.

My understanding is that the three Southern Maryland Sheriff's offices have a mutual aid understanding and can call for aid from these jurisdictions should conditions call for it. Apparently, all of the on duty deputies were busy handling other calls for assistence so they called over to Calvert County to request assistance. It seems like a reasonable thing to do. Why do you feel its necessary to bad mouth our Sheriff and our deputies? I assume from your response you're just a cop hater. There are plenty of you out there.
I used to live next door to a Calvert Sherriff's Deputy. He would drive from SMC to Calvert. If; while on his way to Calvert,; he came across an accident or something similar, he would render assistance, "call it in" as-it-were to SMC Sheriff's office and then proceed to Calvert County. I asked him once, "That makes for a LONNG day when that happens, doesn't it?" "Yup." /:-\

Your thinking (if thats what it really is) is incorrect.

Simply put, You are an uninformed taxpayer
Simply put you may want your taxes increased to put more Law Enforcement in St. Mary's county, but I don't. We have plenty now.
Or maybe you have some plan where Lexington Park and vicinity are charged more than the rest of the county, since most of the need for officers is there. The rest of the county is well protected and ticketed on the roads with the Officers we have now.
