It forms in the subtropic region would be my guess.canuk woman said:Is a subtropical storm a tropical storm that forms outside of the hurricane season?? I'm just asking this is like the first time I have ever heard of such a thing.
No, it's a class of storm. Not quite tropical, but not just a storm either.canuk woman said:Is a subtropical storm a tropical storm that forms outside of the hurricane season?? I'm just asking this is like the first time I have ever heard of such a thing.
A subtropical storm is weaker than a tropical storm. It's not quite a tropical storm - but it probably will be. Subtropical storms have all the characteristics of a tropical storm and can still form into a Category 1 hurricane.canuk woman said:Is a subtropical storm a tropical storm that forms outside of the hurricane season??
